Sarah Shepherd - Creator of iSquared Magazine

It is with great sadness that we must report the tragic death of our daughter Sarah who passed away  on 14th September 2011.

Since then we have continued to sell the remaining issues and donate the proceeds to the Rethink charity.  We have now decided the time has come to close the online shop. However, it is our intention to make all issues of iSquared magazine available online with free access. We will make a further announcement  on this shortly.

iSquared Magazine is closing down in Summer 2010

“As the sole editor, designer and director of iSquared, I have sadly had to make the difficult decision to close the magazine in order to concentrate on finishing my PhD. The final issue of iSquared will be Issue 12 (Summer 2010).”

What is iSquared Magazine?

iSquared is a quarterly magazine which sheds light on the growing number of real-world applications of mathematics. Modern mathematics is widely used in fields as diverse as biology, physics, engineering and economics, although many people are unaware of its importance for both everyday life and cutting-edge research.
